Micha Korst was born december 11th in Holland. Currently working as an ICT Manager for a leading computer housing production company. As our first project we started restoring it not leaving a single bolt untouched and it took us close to seven years to do so. I was hooked. I bought my first MV about a decade ago. A '43 Dodge WC51. Restored it and drove it for a couple of months. Recently (2008) bought a '42 Dodge WC-54 that was cut-up post war. That's when i met my MV Brother Goran. He helped me find and transport a rear body that i needed. We got to talk in the internet and decided to start this adventure without even meeting in real life. |

Göran Norén, born January 2, 1952 in Sweden. I am married and have a 11 y.o. son. I was hit by Guillian Barrés Syndrome, an acute inflammatory disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system which left me almost completely paralyzed in only three (3) days! I rely on an electric wheelchair to get around. I will not let this stop me and I am currently running my own import business, including surplus vehicles and parts therefore. My MV interest started aged 12 when I spent the summer with a German family in Frankfurt am Main. The family had a WW2 Jeep, a Willys MB, painted a hideous yellow, that still had bullet holes in it. They had the paper work, in the form of a drivers journal, which showed that the Jeep had indeed been part of the invasion forces in Normandy on D-Day, June 6 1944. I studied WW2 history and soon started getting interested in the vehicles.I helped form the Swedish MV club, MFHF (Militär Fordons Historiska Föreningen) in 1981 and I bought my first own MV, a 1945 Dodge WC51 in April 1994, at a Nato auction in Kongsberg, Norway. This vehicle is now the subject of a thorough restoration by Micha. |
